About Us:

The Mathurin Hybrid Initiative is a new and rapidly growing international relations think tank dedicated to promoting informed and thoughtful discourse on global issues. We conduct research, analysis, and provide insights on international politics, diplomacy, and global challenges.

 

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Volunteer Journalist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to report on developing stories from around the world, translating complex international relations topics into engaging video content for our YouTube, TikTok and other channels.

 

Responsibilities:

• Research and report on current international events and global affairs.

• Create informative and visually compelling video content for YouTube and TikTok.

• Develop story ideas and pitch content concepts.

• Stay up-to-date with global news and trends in international politics.

• Collaborate with our team of researchers to ensure accurate and insightful reporting.

• Engage with our online audience and respond to comments and questions.

 

Qualifications:

• No previous work experience required.

• Strong interest and knowledge of international politics and global affairs.

• Proficiency in video editing software and experience in creating engaging video content is a bonus.

• Excellent communication and storytelling skills.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

• Creative thinker with a passion for spreading knowledge.

• Access to necessary basic equipment for video production.
