We are seeking a Volunteer Research Assistant to help with the growth of a new geopolitical think tank. The Mathurin Hybrid Initiative is a project designed to provide a platform for young people and underrepresented communities with a voice in world politics. While we are currently unable to offer paid positions, this role is suitable for any undergrad/postgraduate looking to gain more research experience outside of their university courses.
Responsibilities
As a Volunteer Research Assistant with a strong passion for international relations, political science, economics, or related disciplines, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to explore and analyse global issues. Your multifaceted responsibilities may encompass the following:
Research Papers: Conduct thorough and insightful research on topics spanning global politics. Uncover key trends, historical contexts, and contemporary developments to contribute to well-informed content.
Blogging: Translate complex concepts into engaging and accessible blog posts. Craft thought-provoking narratives that captivate readers and provide fresh perspectives on global affairs.
Newsletter Collaboration: Assist in curating and crafting content for our monthly newsletter. Help distill complex ideas into digestible formats for a broader audience, fostering informed discussions.
Innovative Insights: Bring your unique perspective to our team discussions, brainstorming sessions, and content planning. Explore innovative angles that shed light on unexplored aspects of international relations and related fields.
Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in global politics, economics, and international relations. Maintain a commitment to ongoing learning and personal growth.
Qualifications

No previous work experience required.

Must be studying International Relations, Political Science, Economics or a related field at least at the undergraduate level.

Research and Analytical Skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Other languages considered a bonus).
