WHO WE ARE
Welcome to the Mathurin Hybrid Initiative – a dynamic and visionary international relations think tank, with the ambition to be at the forefront of global research. Our mission is rooted in the belief that diverse perspectives and innovative ideas can reshape the global landscape and drive meaningful progress. Hence the name "Hybrid", deriving from the idea of tackling international issues from generally a centrist perspective, combining left and right wing views in a rational and fair way.

At the Mathurin Hybrid Initiative, we envision a world where every individual, regardless of their background, has equal access to opportunities and a voice in shaping the future. We recognize that many communities around the world remain underrepresented and face systemic barriers that hinder their growth and potential. It is our unwavering commitment to bridge this gap and create a society where diversity is celebrated, and everyone's contributions are valued.

The world faces a myriad of complex challenges – from climate change and global health crises to economic inequality and technological disruptions. The Mathurin Hybrid Initiative is dedicated to addressing these pressing issues head-on. Our interdisciplinary teams of experts work tirelessly to develop innovative solutions that are not only effective but also considerate of the diverse contexts in which these issues manifest.

WHAT WE DO
Rational Discussion. Make an Impact.
The Mathurin Hybrid Initiative offers in-depth research papers, blogs on pressing global issues and a monthly newsletter in our bid to assist IR academia. Our research is robust and insightful, with a diverse range of analysts. Over time, we want to continue building the Mathurin Hybrid Initiative where we not only conduct research on ways to improve current political and economic systems, but also directly engage with underrepresented communities through development projects.
Once we are more established, exciting new projects and events will be held by the Mathurin Hybrid Initiative, so stay tuned!
